SPRING HILL, Fla. (May 26, 2026) – The Residence at Timber Pines, a senior living community managed by The Goodman Group, hosted a touching Salute to Service recognition and tribute to veterans on Friday, May 16. The event was presented in partnership with the local United Service Organizations (USO) chapter, the nation’s leading charitable organization serving active-duty service members and military families.

Attendees displayed their military pride, expressed appreciation for the service and sacrifice of veterans, heard guest remarks from USO representatives, enjoyed live entertainment and refreshments, and participated in a donation drive. Guests contributed toiletries, nonperishable food and beverages, grocery and retail gift cards, playing cards, and other items to be distributed to individuals in the area.

“It was with immense gratitude that we recognized and celebrated veterans during our Salute to Service event,” said Lisa Brooks, executive director of The Residence at Timber Pines. “We are deeply thankful for their bravery and dedication to serving our country. A heartfelt thanks goes to everyone who joined us, and to the USO for helping make this gathering truly special.”
